The 7oz denim used here is woven from recycled cotton, reclaimed from offcuts and waste fabric, byproducts of the Japanese garment industry. Where ordinarily this textile waste would be incinerated, the fabrics are shredded before the fibres are re-spun into recycled cotton yarns.
