I am so excited to share with you our latest collaboration with Y2 Leather out of Japan.
The classic 5 pocket, cotton lined, straight leg pant, made from their absolutely stunning 1.3mm drum dyed oil steerhide
A couple years ago, I fell in love with the camel orange / brown leatherwhen we first brought Y2 into The Shop.
After seeing how that jacket has worn in, oh baby ! We knew we needed to make a pant using that leather. .
Unlike a lot of other leather pants on the market, these are soft and supple, requiring no real break in time.
I love everything about these and can not wait to put some time in the saddle with them.
*note some hides pull more than others when they are cut, so measurements can vary about 1/4" in either direction.
I wear a 33 in Ironheart 1955 perfectly , and wear a size 34 in these.
my suggestion is if you are a 32/33 to size to 34 , 34/35 size to 36 ect, I would suggest ordering the size that fits and not going for the "Stretch to Fit" style

After 6 months of wear in my Indigo horsehide leather pants, here are the measurements of my 34 compared to new 34
NEW WAIST 16.25" USED 16.5" = .5" stretch
NEW THIGH 11.75" USED 12.5". =.75" stretch
NEW KNEE 8.5" USED 9". = .5" stretch
NEW HEM 8.5" USED 9". = .5" stretch
After about a week of pretty good wear my steer hide pants
NEW WAIST 16.25" USED 16.75" = .5" stretch
NEW THIGH 11.75" USED 12" = .25" stretch
NEW KNEE 8.5" USED 8.75" = .25" stretch
NEH HEM 8.5" USED 8.75" = .25"Stretch
I would still suggest to buy the size that fits , and not to size down for a "stretch to fit" .
