A while back we smashed our Vintage Dream and Sexxxy White short Morrison boot together.... and BOOM.. the short Morrison was born. A classic western style morrison in a chopped 9" version.
This time around we swapped out the British tan rough out for a sleek Horween Black CXL steer hide and gave it the iconic MP toe profile.
Oh baby thats some dang fine looking footwear.

THIS BOOT IS BUILT ON A WESCO LOW HEEL LAST
On a Brannock I measure slightly over size 10.5
In a low heel Wesco last (Short Stack , Shorty Mo, Brockie, Service Boot, Vintage Dream.) I wear a size 9.5
In a regular heel Wesco last ( Mister Lou , Jobmaster) I wear a size 10E
I wear a Size 9.5 in these boots.
Note : This is not an issue for everyone ... but If you have a high instep like I do, you may want to consider doing a custom from with these boots.
In a stock Morrison with the higher instep I personally have a really difficult time getting my feet into them.
In this model boot a 9.5D fits me length wise, but is tight in the vamp and snug in the width for my thickness... personally the size 10 gives me a little extra room in the length but feels much better on foot through the vamp / instep of the boot.
Again, this is a pretty rare issue and only for those with wide feet and a higher arch but something to note.
I also wear..

And not that I would ever wear them .. I checked my size in the Blunt stones for a customer and I would never be caught dead in a size 10.
I have a really wide foot and tend to buy boots narrow and work them in.
I've always preferred to buy boots on the snug side and break them in for a perfect fit.
