I'd learned about Dondero through an interview I'd done with Conor Oberst back in 2001. I cant remember how his name came up, if it was becasue of the song he had recently recorded with David, or if he was talking about his early influence... either way the second I hung up the phone I went straight to the internet looked up David Dondero and fell in love....
